Welcome to Wittenberg Zoo

With an area of just over 5,000 square meters, the zoo is one of the smallest in Germany. It was founded in 1928. The grounds are mainly home to small monkey species, but also owls and gray parrots. There is an Elbe aquarium with native fish species and a petting enclosure with dwarf goats and guinea pigs. A special attraction is a group of 8 meerkats, whose lively hustle and bustle is always a source of amusement.
