The resort town of Blankenburg in the Harz Mountains is home to an ensemble of Guelph castle and castle gardens. Situated on a limestone hill above the city, the baroque complex is the largest Guelph castle still in existence. You can explore the lovingly landscaped gardens on circular paths. In 2016, the gardens were honoured with the "Green Flag Award" for their special care.
