Route (external navigation)

The locals affectionately call the mountain with the old pass road, which is just over 700 m high, "Den Dobel". The wide, almost fog-free high plateau is a real "island of sunshine" and a vantage point in the heart of the almost endless forests of the northern Black Forest.

This GeoTour turns the topic of "rocks and geology" into an exciting outdoor experience with exploratory tasks and research questions. All texts and pictures of the stations can be found in this brochure, there are no information boards in the area.

Please note: Walking on forest paths, roadsides, forest areas and rocks or boulders is at your own risk! Do not take any steps on the protected Volzemer stones or small monuments such as boundary stones!

From the parking lot, walk along the barbecue area towards the main road. In the meantime, take note of the surroundings. Then proceed to the bus stop with a signpost.
