1000 Jahre Kloster Walsrode
Under the motto "1000 years of Walsrode Abbey", the convent is emblazoned on a special stamp. Most of today's buildings date back to the 18th century. However, visitors can marvel at much older stained glass windows and a depiction of the monastery founder in the monastery chapel. The nuns reveal more about this and other art treasures during a guided tour.
