The AGRONEUM museum in Alt Schwerin takes visitors on a journey through the history of agriculture in Mecklenburg from 1848 to the present day. Historic tractors and steam engines are presented here as well as a hangar with agricultural aeroplanes. Visitors can gain an insight into the life of the farm labourers of the past by visiting faithfully preserved dwellings. The AGRONEUM also showcases traditional handicraft techniques such as spinning and basket weaving.
