Albaufstieg

On the north-western flank of the Swabian Alb, the approximately 12-kilometre-long Albaufstieg stretches along the federal motorway 8 in Baden-Württemberg. The directional carriageways separate into two routes here and overcome a height difference of around 230 metres. The route runs through the Boßler Tunnel and the Steinbühl Tunnel. In between, there are fascinating views of the surrounding landscape.
