The Bachkirche Arnstadt plays an important role in the life and work of the famous composer. After all, it was here that Johann Sebastian Bach took up his first post as organist in 1703. One highlight is the lavishly restored baroque organ that he once played. The church still regularly serves as a stage for concerts.
