Bautzen Budysin
Numerous towers have adorned the centre of the Saxon town of Bautzen, known as Budysin in Upper Sorbian, since the Middle Ages. One of these is the Alte Wasserkunst. Dating from the 16th century,he pumping station with viewing platform, now houses a technical museum. The memorial in the former Bautzen II prison, which dates back to GDR times, is also well known beyond the region.
