Botanischer Garten der Universität Jena

Fürstengraben 26, 7743 Jena

Botanischer Garten der Universität Jena
The botanical garden at the University of Jena was founded in the 16th century. Today it is the second oldest botanical garden in Germany with around 10,000 plant species. While the outdoor area is home to numerous alpine plants and medicinal herbs, among other things, visitors to the greenhouses can mainly expect plants from Mediterranean, tropical and dry climate regions such as cacti and palms.
