Federal President Walter Scheel's House

General information

In 2014 the West wing of the town hall, in which former President of the Federal Republic of Germany had his office from 2009 - 2014, was renamed the Federal President Walter Scheel’s House. To this day his office stands as a historic memorial. The room contains his desk as well as many other awards, documents and hunting trophies form many decades. In order to preserve these, the town of Bad Krozingen has signed an agreement with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, which is close to the German Liberal (FDP) Party.
