Berderkesa Castle was built in the 15th centuryon the remains of an older fortress and was continually extended thereafter. Today it houses an archaeological museum that presents finds from the Bronze Age to the early Middle Ages. The collection is also enriched by 5th-century furiture, tools, pottery and a ship that was once used for burial rituals.
