Built in the 13th century, the defence wall of Klempenow Castle still bears witness to its former role as a fortress for the Pomeranian dukes. Large parts of the castle, which was renovated in 1991, can be visited as part of a guided tour. A water playground has been created for children. Meanwhile, the castle tower offers sweeping views of the Tollense and Landgraben valleys.
