Burg Mildenstein
Mildenstein Castle was first mentioned in a document in 1046 under Emperor Barbarossa and his successors and was equipped with a keep around 32 metres high. Today, sacred works of art are exhibited in the castle chapel. Visitors to the manor house can also view the living quarters of noblemen. The castle also houses exhibitions on jurisdiction in the Middle Ages and the education of young courtiers.
