The floating angel, or "The Floating Man" is the name of a bronze sculpture in the cathedral of the Barlach town of Güstrow. Although the original was removed during the National Socialist era, a replica was made and hung in Güstrow Cathedral in 1953. With its mysterious facial features, "The Floating Man" is considered by connoisseurs to be one of Ernst Barlach's most important works.
