Dorfkirche Cunewalde

With over 2,600 seats, the village church in Cunewalde is the largest of its kind in Germany. Completed in 1793, it was extended in the 19th century with neoclassical elements. Examples of this can be found on the altar with its delicately carved columns. The pulpit, which is decorated with oil paintings, is also very ornate. Thanks to the high interior, the church has excellent acoustics.
