South Sea feeling in the middle of the Damme Berge recreation area awaits visitors to the Heidesee near Holdorf. The former quarry pond, which is around 10 hectares in size and up to 15 metres deep, now serves as a leisure and recreation centre together with its nearby sports facilities. There is a spacious playground for the little ones, while two beach volleyball courts invite you to get active.
