Heilklimatischer Kurort Neustadt

The climatic health resort of Neustadt on the southern slopes of the Harz Mountains is picturesquely situated in the midst of deciduous and coniferous forests. It has been attracting spa guests with its excellent air quality for over 100 years. Neustadt's numerous half-timbered buildings and the wooden Roland statue catch the eye architecturally. The town is also a great starting point for hikes to the surrounding castle ruins of Hohnstein, Ebersburg and Heinrichsburg.
