Herrnhut

Comeniusstraße 6, 02747 Herrnhut

Herrnhut
In addition to its congregation of brothers, Herrnhut is particularly famous for its Herrnhut stars, which were created there over 180 years ago and are considered to be the origin of all poinsettias. A bust in the church hall commemorates Count Zinsendorf, the aristocratic patron of the parish. In the local history museum, visitors can view a Biedermeier-style flat, while the Hutberg offers sweeping views of the Upper Lusatian mountains.
