Historischer Stadtkern Angermünde
The historic town centre of Angermünde is characterised by half-timbered and plastered houses from the 17th to 19th centuries. Parts of the town wall have been preserved, and Angermünde has also made it into world literature: The "Captain of Köpenick" was held prisoner for a day in the old district court. His cell can still be visited today.
