The Chemnitz Museum of Industry presents the industrial history of the region in a former, lavishly remodelled foundry hall. On an area of around 4000 square metres, mining equipment, original textile machines from the late 19th century and automotive robots are on display. A further thematic area deals with the everyday culture of people in relation to industrial history.
