Kalkberg Bad Segeberg

Am Kalkberg 4, 23795 Bad Segeberg

Kalkberg Bad Segeberg
The Kalkberg in Bad Segeberg, north of Hamburg, is a 91-metre-high rock in the town centre. It is one of several places in Germany where Karl May festivals are staged. In 1912, northern Germany's only natural cave was discovered in the Kalkberg, which serves as winter quarters for more than 30,000 bats. The Kalkberg Cave is open to visitors during the summer months.
