The ecumenical Frenswegen Monastery Foundation unites six churches under one roof. In 1974, Reformed and Lutheran, Baptist and Catholic, Herrnhut and Old Reformed churches came together in a way that is unique in Europe to breathe new spiritual life into the building, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Frenswegen Monastery is a place of reflection, education and encounters - a place where people from a wide variety of backgrounds and backgrounds can come together in conversation. As an ecumenical conference and guest house, Frenswegen Monastery is open to all who wish to pause and find new inspiration. The special atmosphere of the former Augustinian canons' monastery and the tangible centuries-old tradition form the ideal space for community and group trips, conferences, seminars and receptions.
