Königshainer Berge
Granite was quarried in the Königshain mountains for around 130 years. What remained were rock towers up to 24 metres high in the middle of a landscape of lakes and forests. Some rocks can be climbed via steps. The sacrificial stones near Biesig bear witness to ritual acts in Slavic times. A museum in Königshain reveals interesting facts about granite mining.
