A popular vantage point on the mountain of the same name in the Lusatian Highlands is the Löbauer Tower, which is around 28 metres high. Over 1,000 individual parts were used in the cast iron object, whose architecture is based on Byzantine and Gothic ornamentation. In good weather, the viewing platform offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Zittau Mountains, the Königshain Hills and the town of Bautzen.
