Markneukirchen

Markneukirchen has been known as a centre of instrument making for almost four centuries. The musical instrument museum, where local and exotic exhibits are on display, is a testament to this. Next to it is the impressive St Nicholas Church, built in the neo-Romanesque style with its 56 metre high church tower. This offers a marvellous panoramic view of the city and the lovingly designed gardens in front of the church.
