The Medieval Centre at the Museum Vechta takes visitors back to the time of knights and noblemen. At the centre is a reconstructed castle complex from the 11th and 12th centuries Which  is gradually being expanded. In addition to guided tours through the historic walls, medieval courses are also offered, allowing visitors to try out craft techniques such as spinning, blacksmithing and baking.
