Known as Bad Lobenstein since 2005, the recognised mud spa on the "Thuringian Sea" welcomes its guests. The village has its own high peat bog and a thermal spring, which can be experienced in the Ardesia thermal baths. Also worth seeing are the ruins of Lobenstein Castle with its landmark "Alter Turm" tower and the historic Markt Höhler beer cellar.
