The Thirty Years' War Museum in Wittstock/Dosse tells the story of the most devastating conflict of the early modern period over seven floors. Weapons and armour are on display here, as is an original edition of Grimmelshausen's "Adventurous Simplicissimus". The exhibition also tells you more about the lives of soldiers and civilians during the Thirty Years' War.
