The Aukrug Nature Park, covering an area of around 380 square kilometres, is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein. The area, which was shaped by the Ice Age, offers a natural diversity of wide valleys, forests and idyllic meadow landscapes. Kellinghusen is unique in its kind, an old ceramics town that boasts winding artistic alleys and the romantic neo-Gothic Luisenberger Tower.
