Naturpark Unteres Saaletal

The Lower Saale Valley Nature Park stretches between Halle and Bernburg to the west and east of the river that gives it its name. Varied landscapes with deciduous forests, watercourses and dry biotopes as well as floodplains and vineyards make the area a popular destination for excursions. Numerous nature trails with themed information boards along the hiking and cycling trails give visitors an insight into the diverse flora and fauna of the nature park.
