Naturpark Westhavelland

The Westhavelland Nature Park, one of the largest contiguous wetlands in western Central Europe, stretches between Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt. Numerous water birds such as snipes, cranes and white-tailed eagles can be observed here. The course of the Havel river invites you to go canoeing, while at night you can marvel at the starry sky in Germany's first star park, which is easy to see thanks to the low level of light pollution.
