Niederlausitz Dolna Luzyca
Lower Lusatia, or "Dolna Luzyca" in Lower Sorbian, is a region characterised by pine forests, heathland and the course of the River Spree. Many lakes in the region were once mining pits and were later renaturalised to create bathing lakes. You can find out more interesting facts about Brandenburg's Sorbs ethnic group at the Wendish Museum in Cottbus.
