Osterburg zu Weida im Thüringer Vogtland

For over 800 years, the mighty Osterburg castle in Weida has towered over the town of the same name in the Thuringian Vogtland. The keep, one of the oldest surviving keeps, is the third highest of its kind in Germany at around 54 metres high. Today, it houses an exhibition on the Reuss dynasty and the history of the Vogtland region. You can learn more about medieval medicinal herbs in the castle garden.
