paläon Schöningen
The paläon research museum in Schöningen first catches the eye with its high-tech architecture. Inside, however, the focus is on travelling back in time to the Stone Age. In addition to tools and skeletons, visitors can marvel at wooden spears that have been dated to around 300,000 years ago. These hunting weapons are among the most important archaeological finds in the world.
