Panorama Museum Bad Frankenhausen
The Panorama Museum on the Schlachtberg near Bad Frankenhausen is home to a gigantic work of art. The Peasants' War entitled "Early Civil Revolution in Germany" by the artist Werner Tübke is exhibited here: a painting 123 metres wide and 14 metres high. Over 3,000 figures and 75 key scenes can be discovered. An exhibition reveals more about the creation of the painting.
