Planstadt Eisenhüttenstadt

Lindenallee 25, 15890 Eisenhüttenstadt

Planstadt Eisenhüttenstadt
The so-called Eisenhüttenstadt was created in 1951 as a planned town in the Oder-Spree district. It was built for workers of the Eisenhüttenkombinat Ost and is considered a model of socialist classicism in Brandenburg. In addition to numerous mosaics and works of art, Eisenhüttenstadt also has a museum dedicated to the everyday culture of the GDR. In addition, the "Insel" park invites you to go hiking and cycling in the countryside.
