Plauen Stadt der Spitze
Plauen has been known as the "town of lace" for more than 150 years. Even today, the filigree embroidery work is still sold all over the world. Germany's only lace museum illustrates the creation of the famous lace on around 500 square metres. In addition to numerous events, museums and galleries, the historic old town is well worth a visit.
