Renaissance Schloß Güstrow

Built in 1558, the Renaissance Güstrow Castle with its oriels and towers is an important testimony to this era. The artfully landscaped pleasure garden invites you to take a stroll, while the ballroom with its ornate stucco ceiling is an eye-catcher inside. The castle also houses a museum that displays paintings, artefacts and historical weapons. Due to extensive construction work, the permanent exhibition at Güstrow Castle is closed until further notice!
