Residenzstadt Celle
Its baroque-style castle still bears witness to Celle's status as a royal seat. In addition to the municipal theatre, the Residenzmuseum with its extensive collection of paintings is also located here. Another highlight is the old town centre: As Celle was hardly damaged in the Second World War, you can still admire the old half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages.
