Seidenblumenstadt Sebnitz

Sebnitz has been known as a silk flower town for almost 200 years. The Deutsche Kunstblume manufactory opened in 1834. Today, guided tours are offered, during which the production of silk flowers is presented. Afterwards, a visit to the local history museum with its more than 12,000 exhibits is well worthwhile. These include works by regional artists as well as historically furnished rooms.
