The Dresden State Art Collections comprise 15 museums in which works from all over the world are presented. They also include the Residential Palace, which was once the centre of power of the Saxon electors and kings. Meanwhile, the Ethnological Museum takes a critical look at the colonial past and the resulting responsibility for Germany.
