Stadt Jüterbog - Stätte der Reformation
The town of Jüterbog is not only considered an important centre of the Reformation due to its proximity to Wittenberg. A so-called Tetzel box, in which the proceeds from the sale of indulgences were once collected, can still be found in St Nicholas' Church today. Thomas Müntzer appeared here as a preacher in 1519. An exhibition in the former monastery in Jüterbog tells of his involvement with the Franciscan order.
