Stuttgart - Porsche Museum - Mercedes-Benz Museum

Welcome to Stuttgart - Porsche Museum - Mercedes-Benz Museum

Since 2009, the Porsche Museum has been presenting automotive history and the fascination of Porsche in an incomparable way. The impressive building is located in the heart of the company's headquarters in Zuffenhausen and was designed by the Viennese architectural firm Delugan Meissl. Spectacular on the outside and high-performance on the inside: the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Sports cars bearing the Stuttgart horse emblem on their hoods have been manufactured here at Porscheplatz since 1950. Since 2009, a spectacular automobile museum has been located right next to the headquarters of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, telling the story of the product and motorsport history of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer. Inside, more than 80 vehicles and 200 small exhibits are on display in 5,600 square meters of exhibition space: in addition to world-famous automotive icons such as the 356, 911, and 917, technical achievements from the early years of the 20th century by Professor Ferdinand Porsche are sure to make the heart of every car enthusiast beat faster. Incidentally, all of the vehicles still serve their purpose today: they drive. The Porsche Museum is also incomparable from the outside. The museum building is supported by three V-shaped columns and contains around 6,000 tons of steel – more than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The sculpture next to the Porsche Museum, whose three steles are each crowned by a Porsche 911, is also impossible to miss. The Porsche Museum is barrier-free and offers guided tours for people with visual and hearing impairments as well as tours in easy language. Parking is available in the underground car park. The underground car park is open from 8:45 a.m. and has an entrance height of 2.10 meters.
