UNESCO-Welterbe im Harz

Bergtal 19, 38640 Goslar

UNESCO-Welterbe im Harz
Breathtaking landscapes meet the cultural diversity of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Germany's Harz low mountain range. Spread over 200 square kilometres, there are numerous traces and monuments from around 3,000 years of the mining industry. Three places steeped in history still bear witness to the former influence of mining on the region: the Rammelsberg mine, the historic centre of Goslar and the Upper Harz water management system.
