Welcome to Unterirdischer Zoo Osnabrück

Special highlights are the three themed worlds "Kajanaland", "Takamanda", "Mariasiel" and the world's only "underground zoo". In the Nordic themed world "Kajanaland", visitors can view the animals from a treetop walkway up to six metres high. Africa fans will get their money's worth in "Takamanda" or "Samburu". "Angkor Wat" brings together animals from Asia, "Manitoba" from North America. The "Mariasiel" water worlds are home to sea creatures that like it cold and wet. Three large playgrounds are included: "Makatanda" with a tree house village and swing landscape, the giraffe playground with a large slide and the NOZ-Kinderland with a mud playground and an old steam locomotive.
