The Monument to the Battle of the Nations inLeipzig tells the story of one of the most important events of modern times. A victory over Napoleon took place here in 1813, which decisively advanced the formation of the German nation. The monument itself impresses with artistic stone sculptures and a height of 91 metres. The viewing platform also offers a sweeping view over Leipzig.
