The steam locomotives of the Weißeritz Valley Railway have been running between Freital-Hainsberg and Kipsdorf in the Erzgebirge since 1882. Thanks to the variety of landscapes, the railway line is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. It leads past the craggy rocks of the Rabenauer Grunds and the medieval town of Dippoldiswalde. Themed rides provide variety all year round.
