Rebuilt in the Baroque style after the Great Northern War, the historic old town of Wolgast now shines in new splendour. Among other things, a town hall with a strikingly curved gable was built. St Peter's Church dates back to the Middle Ages and from its vantage point visitors can see as far as Usedom. Historic ships and ferries adorn the museum harbour.
