Life jackets and a detailed orientation on canoeing are available at the mini-golf course in the Beuron neighborhood of Hausen im Tal. The launch site for this canoe rental at the Nepomuk Bridge in Hausen im Tal is the first option for starting your boat tour on the Young Danube. Boat tours between Hausen im Tal and Sigmaringen are available from May 1 through October 3. For nature conservation reasons, the water level of the Danube at the Beuron gauging station must be at least 53 centimeters on the day of the canoe tour. You can find the current water level at the Beuron gauging station and forecasts for the coming days via the information provided by the Baden-Württemberg Flood Protection Center. Note: Boat departure times are between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Boats used for the canoe tour must be returned by 6:00 p.m. at one of the designated drop-off points.
