The Epplesee is a popular and well-known quarry pond in Rheinstetten, which attracts not only many swimmers but also a large number of water sports enthusiasts thanks to its good wind conditions. A large sunbathing lawn offers plenty of space to relax and swim. There is a textile area and a non-segregated nudist area Catering and toilets are provided . Supervision (in the textile area) is provided by the DLRG A large paid parking lot is located to the north of the lake. However, night parking is prohibited there between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sun worshippers, swimmers, sailors, surfers and divers will find their place at Epplesee . Access: Access by car is possible from the K 3581 district road between Ettlingen and Rheinstetten, near Rheinstetten-Silberstreifen. The lake is easy to reach by train or bicycle. Please note: The bathing lakes must comply with the applicable regulations. The number of visitors may be limited or the lake may have to be closed in the event of violations.
